I wanted 2 engines specifically so that if something goes wrong you can get to shore.
I already used that feature as the boat sucked up a rag that totally wrapped up in the impellor and shut down my left engine. I simply motored home on the other one, put it on the trailer, cut the rag out of the impeller and went back out to have a great day. Fantastic!
If I had just one engine the day would have been a write-off getting towed back home or worse having to paddle to shore for hours.
I can recommend dual engines whole heartedly.
If you can get a running well maintained 99 dual engine Speedster for under $5K then your doing good!
Super Chargers means higher compression and need premium fuel. I'd buy one but don't use low octane fuel and expect it to last.

Well ended up not buying the boat. Guy took it to get winterized then texted me and said that he could not accept less than 6k now....
So still on the search. I have seen 05 boats go for 6500 should I be looking for a model with the two motors or one with one motor?
Anything wrong with the supercharged ones?
