What do you guys do during the off-season to keep you busy until boating season comes back around? Me, I enjoy watching college football until about January. By February the anticipation starts to build back up and I am itching to get back on the water.

Archery deer season started September 15th here and I haven't been even once! I usually try to find time to go bow hunting at least once a week from mid-September through mid-January. Here is my buck from 2007:

I bug Pete z constantly to go sledding. I also watch some NFL and NHL. For the most part it's snowmobiling for me.

Yeah,yeah I do get out snowmobiling - as the conditions allow anyways. I usually put around 1500 miles on in a season, last year was the exception. Lot's of feeding the woodstove and watching hockey too. Shovelling snow and snow-blowing consumes more than one evening as well. I hope to get get right into my M38A1 resto this winter and have it ready to roll next spring. This fall I'll be doing the early and late deer hunts as well as getting out with the dog when ever I can in pursuit of bush chickens (grouse). Here's a few pics from bird hunting last fall:
