I see that you got my e-mail. Welcome to the forum neighbour. Granted it's not quite as lively here as some of the snowmobile forums, but maybe we can help to change that! I guess that if there were a few more brands of jet boats out there, then guys could fight on here like they do on HCS. Speaking of which, you gunna ride that time bomb Arctic Cat this winter or just let it sit on my sled lift for the rest of eternity? lol!

Yeah, we are guessing that many of the SeaDoo Sport Boat owners haven't found us yet - so thanks for spreading the word! If you guys have any ideas to encourage others then we are open for suggestions.

Something you could do would be contact as many Sea Doo jet boat dealers as possible that have websites. Ask to have this site's web address included in thier links. In exchange they could join the forum and register using thier dealership name for thier user name. If they contribute to the forum in the way of answers to tech questions etc. ,then they could post in a separate "dealers" forum with used & non-current boat deals, a service special or accessories they were blowing out. Keep the dealer posts locked, so nobody but the original poster could reply. That will eliminate BS comments from the peanut gallery when they don't like an advertised price, a particular dealer or whatever. This might seem like free advertising, and it is, but you would be getting a link off the dealer's website. Also if you get enough dealers posting up deals it will drive traffic to this site b/c some people will come just to check out what the dealers are selling and others will come here to get good answers to thier tech questions. If the dealers see some business being generated from thier SDSB posts, combined with stronger site traffic numbers, you would be in a better position to hit them up for a paid banner ad, or even thier own sub-forum.

Do you have flyers to hand out to dealers or any stickers that could be put onto a seadoo boat with this web site on it?

We don't have any fliers made up yet, but I guess we could do this. We recently just had some banners made to advertise our SDSB Gear to see if this would help get the word out - there are stickers available via Cafepress - http://www.cafepress...uctCategory-113 - who makes all of our SDSB Gear. The banner is featured here - http://seadoosportbo...om/page/vendors and it should show up in the rotation of banners at the top of the website. We have another smaller banner that is also featured on the homepage.

Sounds like a great idea to me. Do you guys want to help me take this on, would you be willing to reach out to some dealers in your area?

I will draft an e-mail explaining the idea and introducing this site, then I'll send it off to any Sea-Doo boat dealers that I can think of. Maybe I should explain to them to introduce themselves as a dealer in the newbie forum and if we can get enough on the board, then you can create a special dealer's forum for them to post up good deals on non-currents or specials available to forum members.

Add Northland Recreation to that list as well as St.Onge. Wow, other than Hully Gully and Bieda's all those dealers are less than an hour and a half drive from home! You could also possibly include Campbell's Landing, but I think that they just sell Sea Doo PWC's and not the boats. I will work on the e-mail and post it up for comments and critque. Any idea of what forum to put in in Kevin?
