I had my port throttle stick open at about 1/2 throttle, luckily I was able to finesse it back and wasn't too close to shore but have to say I'm not impressed, literally like you hit a stop and that's it. I tore everything down and located the problem in the control mechanism itself, I don't know if I can fix it or if I'll need new controls. It only sticks after running over 3/4 throttle for a bit, then this little brass pin vibrates out and stops lever from comming back down! Very dangerous especially on this boat. I don't even know why there is a pin in there as it's not attached to the cable? Here are a few pics to show what it is I'm talking about, Pic 4 the pin slides back in just leaning it the other way.. hopefully this is an isolated incident but may be worth looking into. Someone should forward this post to BRP! Can you do that Kevin?

Just thought I would give an update on the throttle issue. BRP sent the dealer a new throttle assembly, they in turn shipped it to me and I installed it. I did notice that the new one was exactly the same but the pin didn't come out as much (but still came out a few mm) not enought to catch but the design makes me wonder... It's back together and working fine. One thing of note is the new throttle assembly top screw holes didn't line up with the plastic top plate and I had to drill into the top plastic plate to line it up, not too impressed about that...
I'm getting another throttle assembly and a new cover plate as the one I got apparently wasn't for my boat(which is why it didn't line up with the cover plate properly). Apparently the dealer has had this problem before too. Anyhoo, warranty is great but that is two re-re's of the throttle assembly in less the 1 yr. My dealer is 6hrs away so I guess i'll just do it...
