With the evolving technology and increasing popularity of mobile devices (iPhone, Droid, Blackberry, Palm, etc) we have decided to launch a mobile version of SeaDooSportBoats.com. To view the new mobile website just access the website on your mobile device and you should automatically see the mobile version of the website.

Keep in mind this is our initial launch so there may be a few bugs here and there, so if you spot any then please report them here.

I have attached a few screen shots of what you should expect to see when viewing the new mobile version of the website. The screen shots below were taken while browsing on an iPhone 3GS.

I have not figured out how to watch a topic when using a mobile phone. It has been great for reading and replying, I just cannot locate a subscription button.

This hasn't been added to the mobile version yet, hopefully we can get it added in the near future. For now you will still have to subscribe via the full version of the website.

I would also like to be able to post pics directly from my phone. Currently I have to email them to my home computer, download, save, then upload to the site from there.

Stephen we have been working on version 2 of the SDSB Mobile website, we have added a lot of new features - one of them being the ability to "watch topics". Thanks for your feedback on this feature, it is greatly appreciated.

Take a look at the new version on your mobile device and let me know what you think - we are still working on it so there might be a few bugs so bare with us.

It looks great from what I can tell so far! I still do not seem able to add pics directly from my phone, but I did notice choose file/attach file buttons in the full editor so maybe this is in the works. Great job!

Thanks Stephen! Yeah the ability to upload files/photos is now there too - unfortunately it does not work via the browser on most phones because they do not support it. From the research I have done this is limitation of most phones because they don't have a true file system. They do not support <input type="file">.

This one may be out of my control on certain phones - some will support but most don't at this point. I have been told the only way to upload would be via a native app for each specific device. This would be a lot of overhead for us so not sure if we will go down this path anytime soon.
