Am I blind or did they remove the ICS (Inlet Clearance System) on the 2008 models (not sure on 2007)?
I'm considering trading in my 2005 SCIC on a 2008 Challenger 180 and noticed that they don't indicate the ICS is present anymore.
Did this system turn out to be unreliable or did something else change to not require it? Or is it simply standard equipment now so it doesn't even get mentioned on the spec sheets.
Thanks
Tim

Tim, the ICS was removed for the 2007 model year. The systems was ineffective, unreliable, and difficult to work on. We are proud of Seadoo for recognizing their mistake and sending ICS to Davey Jones locker! Your new 2008 Challenger will work great without it.

Thanks for the update Kevin!
I'm a few years out of date with my technical update books, I think the last one I bought was 2005 so I missed that one.
When the 2008 Update Book comes out, I'll grab it and satisfy my other curiosities lol.
Cheers
