For those out there wondering....yes it is possible. I have the clallenger 180 and surfed behind it this weekend without a rope and i am a beginner wake surfer. I had one 750 in the back seat/ floorboard corner with a 350 on top of that. another 350 under the the driver or passenger floorboard and another 350 in the bow. what sucks is we have a goofy rider and a regular rider so they had to be switched each time the other person rode. We kept the speed at about 12 to 13 on our seadoo guage. We also has a driver and one other passenger when riding so either 2 people on one side or 1 and 1.

After we were done surfing, we tried wakeboarding with all the weight in the midline of the boat. I was unsure of the boat being able to pull all the weight and a rider out of the water but it did just fine, just a little longer to get up to speed and you had to give it full throtle to make a turn and keep the 25 mph speed. Im pretty sure my speedometer is off on the high side. anyways the wake is the best ive ever seen behind my boat. I am very pleased to board behind my boat now. The only issue is space now. Once you get the desired amount of wight in the boat there is really no where to sit.
