Something I have noticed, and my recent houseboat trip has reinforced this, is that the cleats on the Sea-Doo seem to be pretty far down the hull. As my lake begins it summer draw down, the edge of the courtesy dock (or the houseboat deck) is equal or above the cleats. So I am getting a lot of rubbing on the gel coat as well as a couple of scratches. I have tried tying off the fenders on the hand holds inside the boat, but I don't really like that solution. Using hinged fenders in front and back almost work with this method, but still the center of the boat will rub the dock.
I have been thinking of purchasing this product and using between the cleats and higher on the boat with regular fenders. Does anyone have experience with product? Any other thoughts?
