Well I just got off the phone with SeaDoo trying to get some information on which trailer model the recall was on and I found out that it was the Rivalair trailers that came with the 2000 Speedsters. So if you have one of these trailers then you need to contact your dealer ASAP to get the recall taken care of so that you don't have a wheel baring go out while you pulling your boat down the road. This is what happened to me and why I had to replace my barings before I even found out about the recall. The recall is for the wheel barings on the trailer, one of my barings went out about 2 months ago and I replaced them both at that time so mine doesn't really need the recall anymore. My main question for SeaDoo was how would I get my money re-imburse for what I had already spent out of my pocket before the recall was made. The guy at SeaDoo told me that I just needed to provided proof that I had to have the barings replaced and what it cost and then they could come up with a resolution on how to re-imburse me the cost of what it would cost to perform the recall.
Update: SeaDoo re-imbursed me the money for the recall and re-carpeted the bunks on my trailer with the credit that they allotted me to my dealer.
