Hi, my name is Jarret and I bought a 2003 Challenger X as my first boat last year.
I have always wanted a jet boat and I have not been disappointed by my purchase.
Looking forward to many hours on the lake again this year!

I decide to take the boat to Florida during our family vacation and thought it would be a great time to test out towing with the cover on. The trip was about 200 miles one way. I ran into a problem with the lower part of the windshield where it folds rubbing a hole into the cover. The piano hinge turned out to be the cause of the hole. After contacting the manufacture http://commercialsewing.com/ they replaced the cover at no charge and add a rubber mat backing over the windshield portion of the cover. I have towed the boat several times with the cover since they added the backing and it works great. As for the rest of the cover it works great the suction it creates keeps the cover very tight against the boat during towing. Also the customer service was amazing.

Once you take the stern bench off the boat, turn it upside down and you'll see the center pads have 4 rivets holding them to the bench. Drill holes in the rivets and they will fall off. Once you put the new vinyl, use bigger rivets or drill new holes.I have the same seats and was wondering if you knew how to get the bottom seats out?? The little middle pads are rotted and have a few holes in them!
Thanks

Hey
I finally upgraded the sad stock stereo with the following:
JBL MPS100 250 10" Subwoofer (really happy with this choice!)
Jensen MSR2013 BT (I did not want to upgrade the remotes) But it has Bluetooth...no more cables!
MBQUART 360 Watt Marine Amp
4 Infinity Reference 612 6.5" Marine speakers
I wanted to keep it mostly stock looking
The amp is in the glove box, looks great and out of the way!
The boat already has dual batteries...look for my doc on how to add a 2nd battery
I did add a switch that you can see for the direct wired amps to the battery..I did not want to interfere with the battery switch as the amp pulls a lot of current and needed 4 gage wire
The remote controls Pandora quite well for skipping songs and mute and stuff..
Overall it will get very loud/clear and lots of bass! sounds awesome!
The floor is cleared out for the Hydroturf to arrive later this week...so tired of wet stinky carpet!
Check out the pics....Questions?
