well set the family up in Maine this week with the doo. dropped on sunday and went home to work for the week. planned on taking friday off and have 3 day weekend at the lake. got a call from war department they sucked in the rope.....almost all 75'. i drove up wednesday night to see it and fix it if i could. i didn't want to think of not having the boat on friday. i got very luckey, the rope rapped around the shaft and spun a tight spool of ski rope and didn't damage anything. took about 40 minutes to cut one strand at a time with a pair of wire cutters. should have taken a pic for the wall of shame.......

This past 4th of July my son had the boat out with his friends, they were changing skiers and no one was watching the rope as it got sucked up into both engines. Had to tow the boat back with a little 8hp zodiac.. So I guess my DOO is also in the Hall Of Shame.

No shame in it man!!!! 95% of the dooers have doone it, the other 5% are, well, lyin'.

its a lesson well learnt - if i suck anything up my intake again it wont be a ski rope!
