The twin 155's use 22GPH worse case (wide open, ~55MPH) and 10GPH at the most efficient crusing speed of 32MPH or so (as stated on BoatTest.com). I would expect the 185's go up from there.my 215 rotax burns about 8-10 litres an hour for skiing (30 ish mph)and thrashing around (60ish mph) so i guess if you double if for twin 185 and add a little say for the extra weight you would be close say 25 l/hr - maybe more????
hopefully somebody else will chime in with some figures for a twin speedster.
I found it interesting that the 18' C-180 with the 215HP SCIC engine had almost exactly the economy numbers on BoatTest as the S200 with TWO 155HP engines on a 20' boat. This was at best crusing speed and WOT.

And that is what led me to ask, 'Did they test a new boat?' Not only was the fuel consumption relatively high, but top speed was low. Were they testing a boat that was still in the break-in period and running with a richer mixture and reduced rev limits?I found it interesting that the 18' C-180 with the 215HP SCIC engine had almost exactly the economy numbers on BoatTest as the S200 with TWO 155HP engines on a 20' boat. My C180 runs significantly faster than shown in the tests(GPS verified) and compared to other boats, does not seem to be any sort of a gas guzzler.
