Just wondering what you guys are getting for max RPMs with the SCIC. I believe thumper is reaching 8000rpm? I'm maxing out at 7750.

Also, my fastest speeds are achieved with three people. After my 20 hours service I have decreased 4 mph when riding with 2 people.

Before 20 hr service: (2 people: 56.6 mph)
After 20 hr service: (2 people: 52.6 mph)

All runs done with GPS, all necessary equipment, full tank of gas. I weigh about 146 lbs and my wife 131 lbs. [she's taller than me @ 5'10"]

You want your mph and rpm back? I have the answer...next time your out on the water check your oil level once the motor is warmed up. You should be between half and 3/4 between indents' on the dipstick. Your dealer probably overfilled causing loss in rpms thus reduction in mph. Let me know if this helps l

Thanks, I'll doo that for sure next time I'm out. If the oil is above your indicated mark I suppose I will be needing to buy an oil pump kit..?

didnt realsie they were necessary or do you mean 10 hr a little late!

check you duds report for your rpm readout it may be just you tacho which needs tweeking!

The way our dealer operated was to bring in the Doo at 20hrs and bypass the 10hr. I asked about the BUDS printout and they said most owners don't even request it so they didn't. They were going to do it after they pulled my boat back to the front of the shop, but a storm blew in as it was being pulled forward so I didn't bother them with it and drove home.

I will be checking the oil level and other stuff when I get to the lake on Saturday. Hope I find something out.
