it was explained to me once that a 200lb person at the end of a 65ft rope would be going 3 times as fast as the boat during a tight turn

Rope was about half that. Turn wasnt really that tight , i came off about 2 sec into turn (it was ugly) blew jean shorts right off.it was explained to me once that a 200lb person at the end of a 65ft rope would be going 3 times as fast as the boat during a tight turn

man if your using anything less than a 60ft rope on a ringo then you are certifiable
thats insane - doesnt matter what you weigh you could end up overtaking the boat

Of course you are right. We choked up on the rope just for this run and picture. Smoother water up close, I do not recommend anyone try this at home professonal nut on a closed course
Man that water hurts at speed
We have almost done 360 even with longer rope.

a spin out at about 25 mph with a tube rider is worth watching - with a bungee rope its even funnier - they just cant hang on
