Hey all,
Been having a increadible time with the SCIC. My X is 10 times more hatefull than ever before. 1 hour of break-in left. My only complaint about this H2O missle is that I can't be in it all day long. I have noticed the revs are a little unsteady in the lower range (under 4000 mostly). I am using the best fuel I can get. Seem normal?
I have also taken the step to protect my joy ride with the purchase of a Learning Key to keep the kids tame when break in is over. All I have been able to find out is that the Learning Key is simply a electronic rev limiter, however I have also seen posts that indicate that the key also retards ignition and allows a higher fuel rate just as in the break in. My concern is adverse affects on the engine with frequent or prolonged use. Can anyone advise? My dealer says it wont hurt a thing - but they seem very nah that won't hurt a thing about a lot of things - it wont come out of thier pockets after all.
Learning Key

take some comfort that the rxp (same engine jet bike) comes with a learning key - i dont think seadoo would supply something that would be detrimental to its servicibility.
what revs do the learning keys limit the engine too???
