I sent a email to hydroturf 4 weeks ago asking for some samples of their product because I wanted a first hand look at it before I bought it, Meagan replied saying it would be no prob. after 3 weeks and not receiving it I sent another email with no answer. Is this stuff any good, I would like to place my hands on some before I buy.

From what I gather everyone is liking it. I should see my kit next week and hope to install it before my big outing. There are some very detailed pictures that Thumper posted a while ago if you were wanting to see what it looked like on our boats or up close. Just do a search for his posts by name and modify the start date to 1 year ago; that should be plenty to pick up the topic he posted. I'm sure others will chime in soon...

I saw Thumper's pic's, that what got me interested in it. I just wanted to have a piece in my hands and was wondering maybe getting the gray instead of the black because of the heat. I was also wondering how it cleans up and the about durability.

get the diamond shaped black -- it looks superb - it does warm up and makes the baot deck warm under foot - but not hot - it cleans very easy - the diamond pattern drains very well - it took me 10 mins to apply it and it stick like the proverbial to a blanket

imo the grey may show up marks but hey color is a personal choice

as kevin said give laurel a call - i did and things got sorted

only one critisism - ask if you can have a piece for the ski locker - i wish i had as my ski has a scratched bottom from traveliing in th locker which has an unfinished floor

I agree, makes a huge difference!

one thing that is a huge improvement with hydroturf is the fact that you dont get those annoying scuffs on the non-slip parts of the deck which are notoriously difficult to clean off due to the abrasive surface treatment - hydroturf covers all of these areas - it makes the baot easier to clean and it appears cleaner without the cleaning - if that makes sense

Still waiting for my samples , called Hydroturf the other day and asked to speak to Laurel. I was told she was busy and that samples had been sent, but couldn't tell me if mine was one. 6 weeks is a long time to wait . I was wondering if anyone had the gray turf and if it gets dirty under normal use, the black looks great but was just curious what the sportster would lloo like in gray.
