What do you all think of using oil block off plates and premixing your fuel and oil? I did it to my old 2 cycle motorcycle, and it helped with carb tuning because I didn't have to tune the oil mix.
Is it worth the effort on these boats? Also, I heard that the oil is used for the rotoary valve also. So would you have to keep the oil tank?
Premix oil/fuel?

I haven't really thought about it. As long as everything works, I'll leave it alone.
The rotary valve still has to be lubed, and you do that by connecting the 2 large oil lines that go to the engine cases together on each engine. You have to keep those lines filled with oil to lube the rotary valve. I invision a brass tee fitting with the tee blocked with some sort of vacuum cap or whatnot. The tank can go bye bye.
Going to premix does have it's advantages it seems. Think about all the parts in the injection system. One failure and you have a toasty Rotax on your hands.
