I have the 2012 180 Challenger SE. Is anybody else having problems with their fuel gauge not reading correctly? I fill the fuel tank completely full. I then put the boat in the lake. Within minutes, the fuel gauge drops 2 bars. The gauge will only show full when the boat comes to a complete stop or just idling. I continue accelerating again, and 2 bars is gone again. Some time later, after boating, tubing or water skiing, an indicator on the dash was warning low fuel. Then an alarm came on also. I had 2 bars on my fuel gauge. I returned to the marina to get the boat out. The indicator remained on, by then, the alarm was getting annoying to listen too, and no bars were showing any fuel in the tank. After I got back to town, I filled the boat up completely again. I made a note of the fuel I purchased (litres). I subtracted that from the fuel tank capacity and figured the tank still had 27 litres remaining in the tank (1/4) tank full. My dealer has replaced the fuel sensor but it has not corrected the problem. My fuel gauge is still not reading correctly. Is it just me, or is everyone else having that problem too?
