That BITES!!!! keep us updated....Well, Brought the boat to my brothers shop to fire it up and change the plugs. The drivers side motor wouldn't start and come to discover the carb is seized. I am pretty upset at the fact because the throttle shaft and plate we need isnt sold as a spare part. I have to buy the whole assembly for $600!!!!
Somehow the shaft bent and the screws holding the throttle blade also broke trying to loosen them.
Any suggestions?

There are people out there looking to put their junk off any unsuspecting buyer. I think he picked the wrong venue to do that, though. I really hope eBay does the right thing, as well as your seller. But, always remember, caveat emptor!

Did you get in touch with the guy that sold you the boat?

I already ordered the carbs. So when those come in, I can take it out see what else is wrong.
Thanks for you help, its nice to have a freindly person in a situation like this.

I hope thats all you find when you get the carbs on and fire those bad boys up!
Keep us updated, man. Now I'm off to find some inexpensive marine vinyl...
