LOL
I can't tell you how many times I've told folks that if they're bored and can't find anything to do - just head off to a local launch ramp on a Saturday afternoon. Take a lawn chair, a cooler, and sit back and watch the show. Some of us here who've been boating for a number of years know what I'm talking about. Hell, some us here have even been responsible FOR the show!! And how would I know that??
One 4th of July I, along with 4 other couples, went by boat to a fairly big public launching ramp around 6:00pm to watch folks start loading out after a day of boating & fun (surely no alcohol was consumed. ).
Achored on the far side of the cove across from the ramp we laughed ourselves silly for over two hours as we watched one dumass after another. The owner of the boat we were on even had the spirial ring notebook like thing that had numbers from 1 to 10. After each crazy stunt Hal would hold up a "rating". Some folks loading out were amuzed - others got pissed.
