I hope somone can give me some insight. New owner of mint 2003 Sportster 4tec. I took it out for the first time few days back and amongst the newness and all else I was paying attation to on first launch I forgot to throw my rope line all the way back in (anchor line) Immediatley I felt I sucked somethin up and I shut off the engine. Started it back up coatsed a bit away from dock gave it some throttle and realized after violent shake I had a problem. Long story short I took it home cut all the line out (20mins) and removed a piece of plastic i had at end of the rope from impeller...a day later I took it back out and open throttle and all seemed very smooth and I had no vibration or bad type sound in throttle. It seems ok but I am a first time boat/jet owner. Can someone please give me some peace of mind or what to look for incase it did damage anything (and how might I be able to tell"...indicators other than the ones i solved by removing objects" Thanks for all and any help This is a great site
