Hello, i bought a challenger 1800 secondhand from a neighbor bout 3 years ago and i love it. I haven;t had any major complications yet except my throttle line tearing on me and a loose screw on passneger side armguard. Anyways i am looking for bosch or better spark plugs to put into my engine besides the NGK. i noticed half way through last years season i have been getting alot of oil buildup on the plugs which i will have to bring in to tune but also i am having problems with the NGK's not keeping their performance long enough. I usually switch out plugs every month and a half to two months during the summer if i am riding hard for 6+ hours a day 3 days a week. A few people i talked to on the lake i ride on who have Seadoo's both jetskis and seadoo boats said they changed to bosh or splitfire so they don;t have to switch plugs every month or so for a cleaner ride. Noone has my year or engine model so i can;t get the specs on new plugs.
Anyways if anyone has any tips on how to self tune the carb for less oil on the plugs, along with some spark plugs other than NGK they have been using would be greatly appreciated Sorry for the long read.
