So it looks like I will be a new owner of this speedster, it is in otherwise exellent condition but needs fiberglass work.  Believe the drive on shore station created a area for water to get in and cause some dry rot.  I have the resources to fix it but I wanted to ask if anybody have ever rolled one upside down to work on it?  I would do it with a overhead crane but not sure what other things to consider besides draining gas, Mixing oil ann battery removal.??

Lets see pics of the damage. If it were me, id just go ahead and pull the engines. At a minimum id empty the gas and oil tanks and remove the battery. Other than that, i dont see a problem with turning it over.

Just did this last year(see my post in general discussion forum.)  My damage was pretty bad, but got it fixed up with many hours of work.  I used a man lift to flip it end for end, by attaching to the front eyelet hook.  Drain the oil, gas, and remove the windshield cowlings.  Put down some old tires for the boat to rest on.  I removed the motor and would recommend it since it can reduce the weight quite a bit.  Let me know if you have other questions.

Thanks guys for the info, I did get the project done and it looks great. Just getting ready to fire it up today.
