I have a burning need for the 370 HP model, but hate to make the investment if the difference isn't noticeable.
Has anyone ridden/driven both? My top speed (GPS) in the 2004 is 55 mph, anyone know about the 2005?

We have tested both the 310 and 370 HP models. The 310 had a GPS speed of 54.8 averaged, the 370 did 61.9 averaged. As far as "seat of the pants feel" the 370 is definately better out of the hole, zero to forty time was under 4 seconds! There is a difference in plane time and attitude, the 370 has very little bow rise compared to the 310. The 370 leaps out of the hole remaining relatively flat. HOWEVER, if fuel consumption is important the 310 HP will still give you a great bang for the buck. The bottom line is if you want the baddest boy on the block then get the 370. If you want an excellent compromise between speed and fuel mileage the 310 will serve you very well.

Thanks, for the info. I really like my 2004, but the 2005 sounds better. I am going to wait and see what 2006 brings before I do anything. If Sea-Doo ever decides to put twin 4-Tec SCIC (430 hp total). That will be irresistable!

Has anyone heard if the 06 will have the 430 hp option? When does Seadoo usually officially put out this information? Thanks, for the info. I really like my 2004, but the 2005 sounds better.
