The 2000 cut off and would not start back up. I got towed back to the marina and
charged the battery back up (I drained it).
When I try to start it today it runs for a sec and thens cut off.
Why? What do I look for?
I'm getting ready to drive it to the Bahamas again this year for a month.
I'm three weeks away and I need to dial this thing in.
HELP!!

Welcome to the board!I was in the gulf yesterday and I stopped to ask a question to the marine patrol.

Sounds like a problem I had this past Saturday, until Kevin showed me how to start his boat... He will tell ya how.

Are you sure you just didn't flood it when you were out there trying to crank it back up? I did this a couple of times when I first got my doo trying to find the sweet spot to fire it up.

I thought I was brave going 12 miles off shore. You must have balls of steel to drive a jet-boat to the bahamas. What do you carry your extra gas in? : )I was in the gulf yesterday and I stopped to ask a question to the marine patrol.
