i couldnt find the post about this so i am starting this one - 
i suggested a while ago about running in these 4 strkes on the advice of my dealer and asked if anyone else does it and the main response was  - do you really need too - so i asked the dealer - basically his answer was
R-T-F-M
it states in the manual that before the 10 hour service you should not exceed 3/4 throttle unless it is in short bursts.

					I did mine by the book too.  My 10 hours was pretty much in synch with my winterizing, so I haven't taken it out since then.  As tempting as it is to do the WOT, it's prolly just best to do the 'right' thing.  Trust me though, 10 hours is a lonnnngggg time to not open the Doo up.
