i'll put money on it being a 2006 boat seems odd that they bothered with the 370 but i guess even more people will trdae up if they do it next year.

I started a thread about this the other day, but I want to put the 215's in a old speedster 160!!! now that would be bad!!

We should send emails to Seadoo telling them we all want one and that they should build it for 2006!!!!!

I know that I want one!!!! I am doing my best not to trade in this Year but I want a bigger one so bad......I just came across an 04 Challenger X they are trying to clear out for $33k. Its tempting......

If I knew for sure that the 430hp was coming.....then I would start saving now....For gas that is!

I think the hull of the 200 is only rated for 370 and that's why they detuned the supercharged engines. I wonder what you have to do to bring them back up to 215 each.............

That would be interesting to know what exactly was changed...compression, air/fuel, etc....different SCs?

fit intercoolers - colder air/fuel - fuel burns better - more power

at least thats what ive been led to believe.

the only difference between a gtx 185hp sc and the rxp 215scic is the intercooler - thats how come i deduced the above post.

Correct- the intercooler cools the air charge, making it more dense (like me). The more dense, cooler charge creates more efficient combustion- which = more power.

I have a 2004 Speedster 200 (twin 4 tec's). I am sorely tempted to upgrade to the 2005 370HP model. To trade in, it looks like it will cost me about $10,000 $12,000. If you can bolt on superchargers that might be significantly less expensive. Anyone know if the SC's bolt on?

If there is a possible 430hp model in the making for 2006, that would be worth waiting for. Who would know? Anyone?

There are a lot of differences between the 185 BV engine and the 215 BVIC engine. Here is a PARTIAL list:
1) intercooler with associated inlet and cooling hose mounts
2) different engine compression
3) different cam
4) different supercharger ratio
5) different computer
6) entire jet pump due to diameter difference
7) mounting and hole diameter in the raw hull for the jet pump as well as inlet

I admit it would fun to do it but thats just toooooo many parts to change out.
