I am wanting to purchase a 212X or 210 wake, but am concerned about the horsepower. I know they are both responsive, but how do they compare with 10 people on board and a full tank? Does anyone know? The yamaha 212x has 360 hp, and the 210 wake 430hp. This forum suggests the 210 wake has a poor wake to surf . I really like the layout and fit and trim on the yamaha. Anyone own one of these that can help me decide.

Seadoo just announced they will cease making boats so this decision may have been made for you. That being said I have a 2012 210 Challenger with the 430 hp. Have had up to 6 people and top speed stays over 50 mph. My best speed so far was 54 mph. The hull on the Wake and the Sport and the Challenger are all the same. It comes down to the weight in the stern. I have been behind a Wake 230 that created an enormous wake. Good luck. Whether Yamaha or Seadoo this type of boat is a lot of fun.
