Be aware there is a bimini model for the tower that is different than the standard one. Contrary to what SeaDoo suggested in the brochure, the standard S200 bimini cannot be mounted on the boat at the same time as the tower. The bimini that's compatible with the tower is lower and narrower, and mounts to the inside of the tower vertical supports.

It sounds like there is a velcro'd cut out for the Bimini to fit on top of the mooring cover. I guess this works OK. I sign papers on Wednesday for my new 200. I went with the 155HP (310HP) version with no tower (we don't wake board). I traded my '03 Sportster 4-tec.I have been contemplating this too. This was the response that I got from GregZ over at JBN when I asked him about his S200.

Congrats on the new boat. I posted some pictures of mine under Hydro-Turf that shows the bimini top mounted on my boat with no tower. Make sure the dealer has it mounted so that when it is down the center of the top lays on the ski pylon and there is no problem with the cover at all. Hope this helps. It sounds like there is a velcro'd cut out for the Bimini to fit on top of the mooring cover. I guess this works OK. I sign papers on Wednesday for my new 200. Where is the best place to get hydro turf? By best I mean lowest priced
I bought mine from Motorcycles Unlimited near my house, could they just purchase it from Parts Unlimited for me?

By the way, the bimini is nice. There is lots of head room and it is easy to climb in and out of the boat (rear) with the top up. It also looks like removal should be a snap if required (two thumb screws). The cover works great and is fairly easy to install/remove. The bimini fits over the cover with little effort. No problem Kevin, I was going to post them here today anyway! Doo you mind if I ask what you paid for your Speedster 200 out the door with taxes, destination, prep and everything? Did you get any extras such as a bimini top, galvanized trailer etc. with it? I have been pricing 2005 200's and I want to see how comparable the dealer I am working with is to what everyone else is paying for their 200's.

I went in with $20K and my '03 Sportster, I came out with the '05 Speedster 200 (310HP version) with a mooring cover and a bimini top. I could have done better selling my '03 outright, but did not want to deal with it. They quoted me $8,500 for my '03 (trade-in) so I guess I paid $28,500 for the '05 with top and cover, but they made money on the trade as well...Steve,

Oh, and it has a galvinized trailer (that's all my dealer sells).
