One of my 787's is struggling to hold revs and cuts out if I pushed it past 4000 rpm
When I flushed it on idle it sounded more clattery that normal and almost stalling as if something mechanical was jamming
It compression tested it at the beginning of the season and all was fine and will do so again
It turns over on the starter fine
My question is, is it likely to be an imminent engine failure or jet pump failure
I am airing towards the jet pump but wondered if anyone had experienced the same issue?
Regards
John
Engine will not rev and cuts out above 4000 rpm
