I am looking at upgrading my Speedster 160 to a S200. I went to a local dealer here in Atlanta, GA, they had a leftover 2004 S200 blue 310 hp model. The sales guy said he would sale it at a discounted price of $25,000 and he claims this is a steal (I don’t agree with him but I just wanted to confirm with others to see what others have been paying).
This is what he quoted me:
2004 S200 Blue and 2004 Karavan Black S200 Trailer - Base Price - $29,249.00
Freight - $0.00
Dealer Rigging/Prep. - $1,375.00
Documentation Fee - $195.00
Total List - $30,819.00
Discount - $5,819.00
Sales Tax - $771.50
License Fee - $0.00
Deal Total: $25,771.50
How does this deal look compared to what others have paid? Is it a fair deal or is this guy just trying to take someone for a ride on a leftover? What would be a fair deal on this boat?
If anyone is interested in buying a 2000 SeaDoo Speedster 160 then shoot me an email at info@seadoosportboats.com. Here is a recent shot of the boat last summer at Lake Thurmond, http://seadoosportbo...=106&fullsize=1 and you can look here, http://seadoosportbo...w=findpost&p=12, for some shots of the interior and Hydro-Turf in the boat.
