I have a 2012 180 Challenger SE. I wish to upgrade my stereo. Where is the best location to mount an Amplifer? Is the engine compartment too hot for an Amp?

I don't think I would use the engine compartment do to heat and potential humidity. I would look into hiding it inside the console the stereo is mounted in. Remove the seat back cushion on the bow and there should be a good sized area inside to mount an amp. It also provides easy access to the existing stereo speaker wires.

Great! Did you happen to take any photos of the install?
