I've had it mounted on my Hobie Kayak for about a month now and it seems to be working well. At least the depth part is working fine. As far as being a fish finder, I have to say that it hasn't helped me land any fish yet. I've yet to see any of the telltale arcs like you see in the documentation, but I'll keep trying it. As far as sensitivity and noise-reduction capability I'd have to say it must work pretty well, I was able to identify my lure on the screen and watch it go up and down as I fed out line, so that is pretty impressive. I haven't figured out how to use the GPS part yet, the included map is not very high resolution and doesn't correspond to the body of water I've tried it on, and it is not obvious how to set markers to return to. Overall, I'd say it does a good job, the screen is super nice, bright and easy to read, the menu system works well, so I give high marks to that part of it.
