I tried to connect an older IPOD & a newer IPOD Touch through the USB connection in the storage compartment. Neither would work. I got them connected using the headphone jack. The head unit is the factory Jensen that came with the boat. Any one else have this problem?

Ours works, so I wonder if you have a loose connection.

Its at the dealer right now for another issue. Chk Starboard Engine code flashing between 5000-6000 rpm???
More concerned about that right now. I was told it could be setting of the knock sensor in the mid-range.
Started first trip out this year. Ran fine all last season. Told them to look @ the stereo while its there.

Knock Sensor faulty. Just got boat back home. Waiting to get back out to see if it's fixed.
Jensen said USB port only works with Flash Drive; not IPOD's.

The factory Jensen radio (MSR2107) is capable of controlling an ipod but only older models and only 1st gen iphone unfortunately. There is a ipod connection on the amplifier located behind the helm (accessed from starboard bow behind black curtain). You need to purchase a special cable to plug in there and the other end connects to your ipod. I think the real bummer is that is incompatible with recent iphones.
Here's a link to the ipod compatibliity guide from Jensen: http://www.jensenrvd...ility_guide.pdf
