I bought a 2011 Speedster 155 this spring and have been enjoying it so far. Have put about 6 hours on it so far and called the dealership to ask a few questions about the 10 hour service. When I spoke to the sales rep that sold me the boat he said that SeaDoo is now recommending 20-25 hours for the full break-in before bringing it in for the initial service.
Now if that is the case I am fine with that, as that means I have more time before I have to drop it off and spend money on the service, but wanted to see if anyone else had heard of anything like this? Just want to make sure that I follow all service intervals so that I do not do anything to compromise my 4 year warranty on the boat.
Thanks in advance for any information.
Kris

You may want to call another dealer in your area for a second opinion. I would recommend doing it at the 10 hour mark just to make sure everything is running as it should.
We performed ours at 10 hours on our 2010 210 Wake.

I actually emailed Sea-Doo directly, figured it would be best to get it in writing from them directly just to be safe if that is the case. Have not heard back yet, but will post up whatever response I receive.
Thanks!

Below is the response I received from SeaDoo directly. I also did reply and confirm that this change would apply to my 2011 Model Year Speedster and he said 'Yes'.
Thank youfor contacting BRP.
In response to your request, your Sea-Doo dealership is right the maintenance is now required at
25 hours on those boats. The information was updated in the 2012 owner guide.
Thank you for your time
