Is there an hour counter on the 2003 Speedsters? If so, where? If not, can I buy one?
Also, what kind of anchor do you guys prefer? If you even anchor at all!!!
Hour counter?

Don't have any info on the hour counter, sorry. Hopefully someone else can give you a hand with this one.
This is the anchor that I use to hold my Speedster....the 15 lb. one.
You can order it here: http://www.bartswate...talog.asp?P=276 or you can get one like it at Sports Authority. I got mine at Sports Authority, the only difference is mine isn't painted black, it is silver. It really holds the boat well, just make sure when you drop that you throw it out the way that the teeth will catch in the sand and bury itself.....your boat ain't going anywhere then! You can anchor at either location (front or rear) with this anchor, I have done both.

I think the computer built into the boat stores the hours but to retrieve that data you need a fancy SeeDoo computer to hook in via the DSS switch. I bought a hour meter from a local place called www.northerntool.com Here's the one I bought: http://www.northernt...24&categoryId=0
I used a hole saw and cut the hole into the fiberglass next to my steering wheel. I used some silicone sealant around it when I put it in place. I wired it up to one of the wires that I found is hot when the DSS lanyard is attached. So, when I put that onto the post it starts the clock running and when I yank it off the clock stops. It was easy to find a good wire using one of those voltage probes with the sharp point and a wire with an alligator clip.

Thanks!! I am checking into getting one of these from my local Marine supplier. I think I will hook it up inside the engine bay though.

That would be a good place to put it since you really don't need to see it very often.
