I did not notice anything unsually when I was slowly throttling up the entire time.
Anyone had similar issue/situation? I'm hoping its nothing serious.

We bought the Islandia new in 2001 and I guessed we put about 200 hours on the engine based on how many times we went out over the years; I wasn't far off because it showed 187.5 hours. But that was broken down into hours at different RPMs and it was intersting to see we put about 60 hours at idle speed just getting through no wake zones, picking up tubers, etc.
For the trouble/service "codes", it showed a total of five codes and I need to figure out the meaning of some by reading the manuals some more and what corrections/repairs are needed. Here they are as shown on the tool screen: #104 Sea Temp Ckt Hi (active); #131 Trim Ckt Lo; #94 Pitot Ckt Lo; #82 Oil Level Ckt Hi; #75 Fuel Level Ckt Hi.
I just replaced the Port and Starboard Temperature Sensors (based on the suggestion of others on this website) and the main fuel filter (it has 4 or 5 fuel filters) didn't see any improvement in performance, but it couldn't have hurt either.
We put her in storage for the 2012-2013 winter because our season is just about over here in Maryland, and will continue the fun
next season... if the river don't rise & the Lord don't come and we can afford the gas!

To post an update, I did not find what the problem was during last summer. I took the boat out of storage last weekend and I started it back up. My friend noticed that a module was smoking so we shut it down. Took the boat to a shop and based on the drawings I looked at, it was the rev limiter module. The mechanic that is currently working on my boat thinks that the small diaphram fuel pump could have caused the issue with the erradic rpms. I will post an update once I get the bill from the boat shop.
boyd, where did you buy the diagnostic tool from and for how much? if you do not mind me askIng.
