Enclosed is a photo of the new catalytic converter that will be in all 2013 sport boats. We have a limited number of 150 and 180 models available for public sale (Kingsland Marine). The advantage of the catalytic converter is 5% better fuel economy, a CARB IV “green” footprint, and an emission control warranty period of 480 hours instead of the current 175 hours. Notice the amount of room required in the 150 Speedster. The 180 is less affected by the size.

Any pictures on how these connect to a 180? Pricing? Can't see any reference to them on the Kingsland website.

We do not yet have any pictures of the 180 with the catalytic converter installed. Regarding pricing you will not find it listed on our website or theirs so it would be best to give them a call directly. Ask to speak with Kevin Seeber and he should be able to fill in the gaps.

Kevin, enclosed are the pictures for the 180 catalytic converter taken of a boat in our showroom. Keep in mind this is only one element of the 2013 model. I do not know what changes will be made to the boat or other engine components for 2013 at this time. Seadoo has always tried to keep price increases bearable consequently there may be cost savings measures being considered to offset potential 2013 price increases. Considering the decrease in fuel consumption and extended emission control warranty period the benefits seem to outweigh the cost long term.We do not yet have any pictures of the 180 with the catalytic converter installed. Curious myself about the access panel too. We tend to store the tube down there when traveling. Also, anyone think that would fit in an '08? Should be interesting to see the '13s!
Luv ma Doo!
