I appreciate that feedback maybe biased on this forum, but....
I was quite decided on getting a 2012 242LS. Pricing in Canada is a bit ridiculous as the boat lists for 10K more than in the US. Best price I can get for a 2012 242LS with 5 year warranty, delivery inspection, freight etc. is about 65K + taxes.
Just to make sure I was covering all my bases, I decided to check out Sea doo as well. The 230 Wake with 510HP motors, 5yr warranty, Delivery Inspection, Freight etc. can be had for about 55K. The Sea doo MSRP is about the same for US/Canada.
I wanted the Yammie as the fit and finish were awesome, lots of space, possible head compartment and two beautiful naturally aspirated motors, pretty good fuel economy, and classy understated styling.
On the 230 Wake, I get extreme wake board options like balast tanks, a very fancy and well integrated navigation/instrumentation system, 510HP motors, slightly less draft (12" vs 16" a plus as I plan on a lot of camping with this boat), pretty in-your-face styling, but relatively poor fuel economy.
Ironically, US MSRP for the Seadoo as described here is about 63K.
So what do you folks all think? I thought I had my mind made up, but I just ignore the significant price gap. Very much appreciate your comments
Choices Choices, Yammie or Sea Doo

Of course our vote is for the 230 Wake, we have been nothing but pleased with our 210 Wake.

Thanks for the response. I just pulled the trigger on a Wake 230 w/510HP and weedless. Got a great price. Can't wait to put her in water!
Cheers.
