I have read that this could perhaps be a DESS post problem. Anyones guess is better than mine. Is there a way to test the DESS post to know if it is in fact the post? What else can I look for. Any ideas would be a huge help this problem has been driving me crazy! Thanks in advance everyone!!

Hello everyone new to the forum and already it has been a huge help as no one even works on jetboats in my area lol. My issue is this. 99 Challenger 1800 twin 787s. They both run fine above idle no issues there. As soon as you drop the throttle anywhere near idle the boat shuts off as if the key were removed from the post suddenly.

Any ideas from anyone??
