I left a message yesterday for him, with the same girl who said I should have taken my boat out of water after each use and said she would take my message but once they have made their decision it is final. You will just have to debate this with them because technically they are correct, the warranty only covers structural damage. Did you talk to Remy about it? I had some gelcote issues with my hull a while back and he got everything taken care of so that the repairs were covered by Bombardier.
Do you know what I did to create this problem, I do leave in the water all summer and remove , dry and store under roof, it does have a pump to remove excess water and it does work. I keep going back to 1st sinking of boat in 2002 and that the dealer obviously did not check over very well as the coil boots were full of water, so maybe the hull should have been dried then.
After inspecting again, their is a crack ( line ) at the back of boat about 1 1/2" that is black and I run my finger nail over I can feel it.

Thanks for the replyIt does say in the first part of every owners manual to take the boat out after each use. It also says that osmosis or oxidation that is not covered. It does not cause structral damage. It is pure cosmetic. That is why most big boats get bottam painted to avoid blisters. Have you had a professional fiberglass/gelcoat look at it and write an estimate? That may help get BRP moving. Your dealer should be able to help.
What they faxed me says " Remove the sport boat from the water every day to prevent marine organisms growth." I understand if my boat was 6-10 years old and had a few spots, but it is a 2002 with 30-40 spots. My dealer Snow City Marine Scarborough, Ontario, has not offered to price the repair, just wants me to get it out of their yard. What I have heard is a 5-6K Canadian repair bill. What my worry is that 2 years later I will be doing again. Snow City has another Sea doo boat there with same problem waiting to go back to factory for warranty. I would have accepted the repair if either the dealer or the manufacture had explained to me before I bought the boat, " That it had to come out of water every day" But after I would have stopped laughing, I would have went and bought a real water tight boat.
