New to the forums, and already getting lots of great info.
I just recently bought a 04 sportster LE/DI. Call me crazy but if I just back the boat into my garage for the winter what will happen... Really? I never open the garage door, and it's the same temperature in the garage as in my house (always warm).
I'd for sure put the recommended fuel stabilizer in, and grease the PTO shaft, but for the rest, what could possibly happen?
Opinions are what I'm looking for. Anyone else do this?

I have done this for the past 4 years we have lived in our house, through two different boats - a 180 Challenger and a 210 Wake.
If you do what you have mentioned and it stays as warm as you say then it should be fine. I would however recommend disconnecting the battery. Or if you do not want do that, pull it out of the garage once a month and fire it it up briefly with the hose connected to ensure the battery does not die.
