I have a '97 GSi and a '98 GSXL that I am considering trading for a '97 Speedster. These two are in fair-to-good condition and the Speedster looks to be in very good-to-excellent condition.

How many of you have owned both(PWC and JET boat)?

BTW, nice looking forum, if I pull the trigger on this trade, I could see spending some time here.

Welcome and Wow! That would be a trade I would consider too! I haven't owned a PWC (yet), and have the 97 Speedster now. You will enjoy it if you decide to doo it. Just be careful and don't let the cosmetics of the Speedster fool you. Check out those 717's thoroughly and be sure they are in good shape. Start with checking compression . Too bad about missing that one. But, that means there will be a better trade for you in the future. I've also never owned a pwc. I have a '96 Speedster that I bought new. I love it. I never hesitate to give wild rides to other guys. I think I wouldn't do so with a pwc. Other girls, yes and how, not guys tho.
