We purchased a new 2010 Wake 210 and the motor light would not go off. We had it in the shop 6 times (A Total of 42 days). The Sea Doo Dealer was unable to fix it. I called Sea Doo and Spoke to Damien - He offered no help except to say "Our dealers are responsible for calling BRP if they are unable to fix an issue". We wasted this summer trying to get a new boat working. Poor service and no help from BRP. We are now returning the boat under the Lemon Law.
No help from BRP

The 210's are known to have an engine light issue. Our 210 Wake has also done the same thing since the day we purchased it, we have been told by BRP that it is a computer glitch.
What did the dealer actually do in attempt to fix this issue? We have had software updates performed to our 210 Wake and the light comes on from time to time still, but it does not stay on.
We have been told that they are aware and in our case there is no risk to the engine, they know it is extremely frustrating to see a check engine light on a brand new boat and I believe are still working on a software update that will resolve this issue for good.
Have you tried taking the boat to another dealer? It is possible that the dealer could be partly at fault for not resolving the issue. Have you had any other issues with the boat apart from the check engine light? Also is the check engine light just coming on like I described in our case or have you been told there is something physically wrong with the engine that is causing it to stay on?
Keep us posted and welcome to the site.
