Hello, I just regestered and may have made a mistake doing so on the model boat I have. Sorry!
I have a 2001 sporster LE with the 947 rotax motor. I am trying to winterize it and I get antifreeze pooring out as fast as I can put it in. It is coming out on the low side of the jet drive out side the boat. I did this last year after clamping a hose, I can not remember what one! and then I attached a short section of garden hose screwed in to the fitting in the same area on the jet drive and routed it up so the antifreeze would fill into the entire motor and I let it set for several hours, making sure the entire motor was filled. Does any one have a picture of the correct hose to pinch off? Thank you for any suggestions. Rick

Thank you Kevin, that is a big help. I am 68 years old and I had trouble bending over into the boat
while installing the dran hose clamp. I think this is why the antifreeze ran out. I will clamp it again
using your suggestions. I will let you know if I have better luck. Can you suggest the best manual
for this 2001 sportster LE with 947 Rotax motor?

You're welcome Rick.
We do not have a specific manual available for the 2001, but you can browse our shop manuals to see what is available - http://seadoosportbo...t-boat-manuals/. I believe the closest we have is for a 1999, http://seadoosportbo...00-shop-manual/

Thank you Marty and Kevin. I found some better hose clamps at a wood working tool supply near by.
The clamps have a round bar on one end and the regular "C" clamp screw end on the other. Anyway
my problem was the old small "C" clamps I was using. I have now filled the motor with Antifreeze and it is holding. (no leaking) I know the motor is full as I put in more than a 1/2 gallon and it now has antifreeze in the fill hose funnel that is still in the cylinder head. I will check out manuals for this boat on line as you suggested. Thanks again Rick
