POPULAR
I am going to do some research tonight, but I thought that I would post up the question for you guys.
I towed my boat today and when I reached my destination, I smelt something burning. Then a cap in the center of the wheel popped off a bit and red paste started coming out. Do you know what the problem can be?
I am hoping that I only need to grease the tire.

If you have to replace the bearing, I would recommend looking into Bearing Buddy.

Also I would recommend getting some bearing covers.

Sounds like your wheel bearing over-heated, not enough grease packed in there most likely. If you are lucky you can repack the bearing and all should be well. Worst case you will have to replace the bearing if it was damaged and then repack.

Ouch! Ok, I just called a local shop and I am going to take it to them for the work.
FYI- I dropped my boat off at Hydro-Turf this morning, I have a great pattern going on the swim step. The good news is that other 2011 210 owners will now have a template available at Hydro-Turf. They are only 15 minutes from my house.

Bearing buddies are a must, wow. I can't believe Sea Doo sold me ths trailer without them.
Kevin, I think that you should consider making a sticky for Bearing Buddies as a recommended trailer upgrade. Let me know if you want me to start a new post.
