1) I have the 947 Rotax, how many Miles per gallon do I get (mpg)
2) How fast does the boat go with one person or 4??(average mph)
3) Is there a Manual to the 947 Rotax?? I'd really like to know more about my new engine (see below).
4) Are there upgrades to the engine??
Suprised!!! I could not find a manufacturer for the "947 Rotax" engin anywhere on the internet. I have no clue who makes this engine. The only thing I could find on "Rotax" is that they're an aircraft company. Any help is MUCH appreciated.. THX

The 947 Rotax engine is manufactured by Rotax, which is a Bombardier company. The actual displacement is 951 cc, for 130 HP.
You're not going to be measuring fuel consumption in MPG, rather in GPH (gallons per hour), and that is going to vary depending on your driving habits, activities (tubing, skiing, cruising, or wide open throttle playing). Your speed is going to vary as well, and I'm thinking along the lines of high 40's, low to mid 50's depending on load and water conditions.
I don't know of a manual available for the 2004 models yet, although there may be one somewhere. Check with your dealer for availability, or search eBay.
Upgrades...... probably, although there shouldn't be much you would want to doo with it at this point except enjoy it as much as possible.
It is true that Rotax does manufacture aircraft engines, as well as snowmobile, watercraft, and motorcycle engines.

You can also find some cheaper alternatives, just use "Google" and see what you can find.
