Secondly why the ALL CAPS???
Thirdly the ski pylon is not designed for tubing, I believe it might even say that in the manual somewhere. If you want to tube you are suppose to use the hook in the back on the boat. It is to much 'whipping' pressure put on the pylon when the boat makes sharp turns pulling a tuber which eventually will cause to what happened to your pylon. The pylon is designed for skiing, kneeboarding, waterboarding and things such as that.

As far as your problems, how much of this has been taken care of to your satisfaction by your dealer, under warranty?
I gotta agree with Kevin on the ski pylon- it was never intended to be used to tow an inflatable. There are many instances where someones pylon has bent because of this.
The oil issue sounds like a pain in tha ass.... that should have been taken care of right away instead of sending you away with a "bring it back later" note.....

sorry about the caps, but i'm just not happy w/ my cituation.
as for the ski pylon, it is the absolute least of my worries (next to the plastic windshield trim). thanks fo rthe advise, i'll look in the manual to see if it say's anything about the ski pylons towing abilities. i was wondering if you or anyone u know may have any of the other issues i have.
thanks once again

as far as the dealer, i wouldn't trust them w/ a butter knife. they attempted to advise me about the motor problem ( oil bullsh*t that was not the problem). they fixed nothing. they had boat for 4 days and all they did was make the interior floor and seats dirty.... i'm bringing the boat to mercury to find the problem w/ motor and after thats resolved and i have thurally tested the engine i will bring it to a new dealer ( bombardier has been contacted of all issues and advised me of other dealers in my area. they also assigned me a reference # to advise the dealer of) boat is less than 4 months old, motor has 1 yr warranty, boat warranty still in effect.
thanks for the reply

Did you ever get satisfactory diagnostics/repair/replacement from Merc?
My dealer practically refused to sell me the Opti. He called it an Optipop. However, you are the first jet boat owner I have found who has had a problem with one. There have been a few problems with outboards

I had to have the metal plate under the foam of the cooler lid and driver side compartment re-glued due to a gust of wind hyper-extending the support cables. But don’t worry it was no big deal.
I am surprised that your ski pylon bent. I have had two round tubes and 500lbs in a three man tube on my pylon with no issues. However I am wondering why if you have Challenger X that you don’t hook your toys up the wake-board rack. I did that behind a mastercraft and loved every minute.
I can’t even comment on the cracks in your floor. Let us know what Doo says.
Good luck with the motor,
Keith
