Hi everyone -

Well, I hate to admit it, but I'm putting my '97 Speedster up for sale. I know that I'm going to get a bigger boat, but I haven't yet decided between prop and jet. I am definitely going to look at the bigger Sea Doo's before I make a desicion.

Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone here knew of anyone that might be interested. I am in the Austin Texas area.

Also, I'm not sure about how much to ask. The boat is in excellent condition (a single 1/4' scratch on the whole thing). The wear rings were replaced in May, and everything works perfectly on her. Any suggestions? I think I'm going to start by putting it in the paper.

The low retail on your boat without listing any options such as stereo, bimini top, etc... is $4280. Average retail is $5280. Anything in between would be a fair asking price. You shouldn't have any problem selling it. Post some pics if you like, and I will ask around and see if anyone is interested here.

It will be sold with a cover and Bimini top... I'm needing to get around 6, so probably will ask a little higher so that there's room to come down.

Nice boat. Those additions would change the value a little, with $4565 being low retail and $5620 being average. Plus it is a clean Doo. Bear in mind that the prices I am giving are RETAIL, and not necessarily what an individual would or should pay to another individual.
