I what to try to go around to the fuel valve selector (petcock) on a 97 challenger because I known that the petcock can give you real fits on a seadoo but the way this thing is designed if you take the knob off and pushed it through the hull you would be screwed.It looks like that you might be able go through the trottle selector and maybe get a hold of it there?Does anyone know how get at the petcock?

I would recommend picking up a shop manual as it should be able to walk you through this. We do not have the shop manual dated 97 but we do have the one dated for 96. SeaDoo sometimes does not make a manual every year for each boat if there were no significant changes from 96-97 it is likely the technicians used the same manual.
